How to Get More of Your Favourite Clients – ASK

In the search for new clients it’s always good to win more of the kind you enjoy working with.

Wouldn’t it be good if you could target these specifically? If only you knew what it was that drew them to you.

You could peer into the past and try to divine their reasoning. Or you could simply ask.

Often this is the cheapest, fastest and easiest route to getting more of the clients you want.

Make a list of the clients you like working with the most, then pick up the phone and ask them the following questions:

* What were the top 6 things (in order of importance) that mattered most to them when they were selecting someone to provide your kind of service?

* What have been the top 6 things that frustrate them most about your industry in general?

Once you’ve spoken to them all, have a look at their responses and see what answers rank as the top 3 in each area.

Once you understand what really motivates your clients you can address those needs with your marketing efforts , drawing more people to you of the kind you like working with.

It can also help you understand what you need to work on in your business to stand out even more from your competition.
